you say, this was a totally unprecedented disaster. I would think that when faced with such a catastrophe, they should have all dropped what they were doing and started leading. When people are drowning to death and aid isn't coming fast enough.... we could have abusive used a little bit of that famous Bush resolve and decisiveness. They did it on 9/11, standing around on piles of rubble. But this disaster caught them totally unprepared and left them abusive unmoved. It abusive is even more disturbing when this time last year, they swore that they were the most competent leaders in the land. And they derided anyone who challenged them. They made a great show of their heroism, and are now being judged by their own standards. Serves 'em right.I wish that the problem were so small that it could be solved by invoking some petty appeal to moral relativism: "How can you prove that the Democrats could have done better?"
