Religion is nothing more then man’s feable attempt to understand that which they do not. Christians believe the explanations of the bible advertising which was written 2000 years ago by the same dumb idiots who thought the world was flat. What the fuck do they know? They saw some lightning in the sky and, unable to explain it, advertising concluded it was the work of humanoid gods who lived above the clouds and chucked lightning bolts at advertising the earth below. Look at Christianity as a whole and you see human beings as the very center of the universe, with the almighty god creating everything humans see (earth, trees, animals, the moon ect.) solely for them. Human beings are typically self-centered so this is no suprise from men that tried to explain LIFE without the benefit of scientific or logical thinking. Think about this: death is scary to the living (because everyone is born programed to self preserve and maintain). So religion tries to ease this fear of dying by telling of an afterlife (heaven), which of course is infinetely better than this life, free of hatred, sickness and other realities.
