After the show we decided to go drink more, but not before stopping random people in the streets to sing them songs. When you're drunk, these sorts of things seem like good tv shows ideas. Gurley was our leader and it was his job to wrangle people up to listen. He hurt the tv shows cause as much tv shows as he helped it and for that, hats off to you Gurley. We hit a bar called Aces and it was just that, fucking Aces. Cheap beer and skeetball and a good jukebox with plenty of cool people inside. It should be noted that on the way there, while looking for a parking spot, Gurley thought he saw one and said "Over there, on the right !" as he pointed to the left. |

| Lenny and Gurley are not good people. We got back ben affleck to the club and found out that only The Street Dogs and Darkbuster would be playing that day. This meant going on about a half hour earlier than expected. No worries except that Danny was off having dinner with Jane. We waited ben affleck for their return and in ben affleck the meantime, talked to some good friends, including Opie and Adam and even Joe Kamel as he likes to be called. They bought me beer. Soon Danny came and the show began. The band was tight, sounded good and the crowd responded very well to them. They even did a cover of the Dropkick Murphy's Classic "Get Up" with Street Dogs lead singer Mike McColgan on vocals. Totally fucking awesome. I've heard Lenny sing this song before, and as good as that sounds, somehow when Mike sings it, it sounds more natural, like he'd sung it before. |
